Toxicokinetics Studies

The objective of toxicokinetic (TK) studies is to determine the systemic exposure level and duration of a test substance at different doses in toxicity studies, thereby predicting the potential risk of human exposure to the test substance. Toxicokinetics is an essential component of nonclinical toxicity studies, with the research focus on interpreting toxicity findings and predicting human safety, rather than simply characterizing the basic pharmacokinetic parameters of the drug. The laboratory is equipped with an AB5500 LC-MS/MS, SpectraMax M5e multi-mode microplate reader, MSD, and other instruments.
